Celine Dion Shares Her Plans To Get A Tattoo Of René Angélil's Heartbeat As A Tribute To Her Late Husband

It has been seven months since her husband René Angélil's tragic passing.
And now Celine Dion has shared how she plans continue to pay tribute to him in the years to come.
The 48-year-old said during a new video interview with Vogue that she would like to get a tattoo of his heartbeat.

'Since my husband passed away, they can make the tattoo as this heartbeat,' she revealed, while squiggling her hand through the air.
'So I might have his heartbeat on my body for the rest of my life,' she added.

The singer did not seem to find tattoos particularly appealing when she was first asked whether she favored them to piercings.
But the death of her husband led to a change of heart, she said.
'You know, I've seen so many people that they have tattoos when they're young and then they get older and the name changes. It used to be Louise, and now it's like, Louis. You are going down! It's gravity, baby. It is going down!'

Celine's husband Rene died at the age of 73 on January 14 after a lengthy battle with throat cancer.
Her brother Daniel died just days later.
Celine and Rene had son René-Charles, 15, and five-year-old twin sons Eddy and Nelson.

August 1 marks the first of many concerts Celine will be having in Canada and Las Vegas until February.
Celine's management have also recently announced that she will be releasing a new album.
'Mark your calendars! The new album, #EncoreUnSoir, will be available on August 26th,' read a tweet from her account.

It is the singer's first release since the death of her manager turned husband died of cancer at the age of 74 in January. It is also her 26th studio album in total and 14th in French.
